Teriyaki NOT Terror-yaki
Everyone knows once you have children eating out can pose a variety of problems. We decided to go out for Teriyaki and actually dine in instead of getting take out. Joe got the chicken Katsu, Laura the chicken teriyaki and sweet and sour chicken combo and for the kids we got a plain jane chicken teriyaki. The high chair actually had a working seat belt, the TV was on (pre Olympic ceremony) and Elise liked the hot tea while Russell was happy chomping on chopsticks. The food came out quickly, both kids ate well and everyone was happy. It was the BEST dining experience we have had yet. There was no whining, crying, glares from other patrons, spilled drinks, complaining, or anything else considered poor behavior. I know this may seem routine or mundane but far from it!! Joe and I are usually so busy keeping up with the needs of the kids that we inhale our food and are constantly trying to keep them even keeled. We hope this is not just a one time glitch...
