Well let us tell you what we know. The appraiser went to the house Wednesday and we hoped to have the loan approved Friday but that did not happen so now it is pushed back to Tuesday, since the holiday and all. The loan will either be approved or the loan will state that it will be approved based on condition that we fix x, y and z. Note to all those who may purchase a house someday: do not make an offer during the holiday season. We have lost nearly 6 business days when you factor in Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day and President's Day. This really makes some of our weeks 3 day weeks and then when we have something that needs signed by the seller or whatnot it always gets delayed and is longer than we expected. Then to boot February is a short month!
We HOPE to know this week for sure what is going on. Joe and I have been roaming Lowe's and Hope Depot for ideas. We are on the same page for most things, this ought to be interesting.
