Russell's First ER Visit July 8th

Russell went to the ER 7/8 when Lucas was only 5 days old. Russell and Elise had been playing outside the night before and got attacked by mosquitoes. He had almost 2 dozen bites on his face. Later that day he fell and tripped on his eye. He is playing like usual and goes to sleep. Joe wakes me up to tell me Russell woke up screaming and his eye was swollen shut. At that point we did not know if it was related to the fall or what. We called the insurance nurse hotline and were told to go to the ER. The ER doc told us the facial swelling was because his head was at heart level (he was sleeping in his crib). He basically had an allergic reaction to the bug bites. The pictures don't so it justice, we called him "Sloth" from the Goonies. Poor little fella.
