Moving Day

We moved July 13th, when Lucas was 10 days old. I hired movers for the larger items, and it worked out great. We did the majority of the house on the 13th and started living in the "new" house that night. We only have one toilet, no mirror on the walls (I feel like I am camping) and only Russell's room has window coverings. We got the last load of stuff on the 27th and closed on the 29th. We were worried about Elise and how she would handle the move, she transitioned very well it was Russell we should have worried about. We knew there was going to be some problems when he climed out of his crib and walked upstairs at least 20 times the first night. "Play, play," no buddy it is not time to play and we'd put him back in his crib just for the cycle to contine. Laura eventually laid on the floor of his room until he went to sleep. Since then we have switched around his door knob so the lock is on the outside of the door literally locking him in his room. He still gets out of his crib and usually hangs out in his room for an hour or so playing and we find him conked out in some pretty funny places.

Russell's door has glass panes, for now newspaper does the trick to cover it up. There are some holes where the newpaper does not overlap and we can spy on him.

This where Laura found Russie sleeping, with the lights still on.
