It all started Monday... a couple wanted to see the house for the 3rd time and asked that Joe be present for any questions they had. Joe met them, a couple our age expecting their first child, and gave them the grand tour. This couple had seen our house in the first week or two it was listed but then the interested buyer lost his job. We were kept in the loop with their agent and knew they were still interested but tried to get financing soon after he got a new job in the same field. The lender declined a loan stating they'd reassess once the job was held for 2 YEARS!! So once again they were still interested but needed financing. A friend offered to co-sign and then they came out Mon at 6:30. We have been waiting patiently since then and today we accepted an offer. We feel really good about it, we feel it is good for us and good for them. In all sense a win-win, perhaps best of all it is not contingent on the sale of their house. We knew our house would not appeal to first time home owners and the idea of a contingent offer was a real concern for us. Thanks for the prayers, but don't stop them keep 'em coming.
