This is what Elise did when Laura asked her do do thumbs up. So literal.
Thumbs up part deux (with the eyes closed).
Laura and Elise came in from being outside and to entice Elise, Laura suggested the two make cookies. Elise was walking outside with her hands in her pockets saying "warm", Laura was getting cold and thought Elise was trying to use a combination of positive thinking and reverse psychology- if I say I am warm then maybe I'll get warm & perhaps mom will believe me. Elise thinking to herself "Drats, she is smarter than I thought!!"
