New house and new floors= AWESOME
So last night our family went to the house and Grandma Gilda came along too. The flu bug hit our house last week and nothing got done on our end, no painting, no starting tile work, no yard work, nothing. We wanted to stick close to home and that we did. Anyways back to last night, we walked in the front door, walked up the six steps took off our shoes and was in awe of the hardwoods- BEAUTIFUL!! We couldn't ohh and ahh too much the toxic fumes were overwhelming. We all ran to the back door by the kitchen flung it open and inhaled fresh air. Our noses and eyes were buring in just the three minutes it took to look around. We went down stairs and checked out the kids' bedrooms. Painting downstairs is about 70% done and the colors are great. Russell's room is Raccoon Hollow (a nice brown/grey), Elise's is Spaqua (a Tiffany box blue) and the baby's room is called Dill Pickle. Laura thinks it is funny the pregnant lady picked out a color called Dill Pickle, it is a nice bright green and is nothing like a dill pickle. We should see a nice transformation in the next two weeks, painting will be complete and carpet installed. It is coming together... Sorry no pics this time, our eyes and noses were on fire from the fumes.
