Joe has been spending a lot of time at the new house. Last week the drywall was finished and looks beautiful!! He painted the ceilings in the bedrooms and started on our master bedroom walls because the hardwood floor guys came out yesterday and started laying new flooring (just in the master bedroom). Everything upstairs is already hardwoods with the exception of the bathroom and closet in the office/kids' playroom. I received a disturbing email last night from the hardwood floor guys who said there was a leak from the bathroom and the office/ kids' playroom closet could not have flooring layed until it was dry. Joe had a guys night out and was at the movies, I debated.. send him text and let him know, but that surely would put a damper on his evening so intead I thought of all the worst case senarios, not a good idea. Joe arried home at 1 AM and had him read the email. He decided to go take a look himself and turn off the water if indeed there was a leak. He got home sometime after 2AM and said that was old water damage from the previous owners. The hardwood guys must have just looked and not touched becuase it was not wet at all. WOO HOO, this turned out to be the best case senario!!
We have carpet chose and just need to order it. We will place an order for our bathroom cabinet today.
We are moving on up and have a working kitchen sink, thanks Tom!!
Coming along. We hope to be in before this next kiddo arrives which is about 7 weeks away.
