The other day at Targar-che Elise was in rare form, although this behavior is becoming more and more common and less rare lately. Laura was pushing Russell in the cart, Joe was at her heels and Elise was bringing up the rear. A man with his 6 year old daughter must have got in Elise's personal bubble because she pointed at him and said, "That is MY Daddy," either that or he was getting too close to Joe.
The man could have handled that situation a million different ways: is that so, my we're mouthy, no nap eh? I was grateful for how he did handle it. "That was my daughter 3 years ago."
We smiled at one another and I said, "Oh good so they grow out of it." We laughed and shopped on.
