We have ladybugs. It must be too cold for them and they are seeking warmth. A few line the window sills and can found through out the house. Elise was scared to touch them not too long ago and now picks them up and walks around with them. She actually blows on them (Joe showed her this) because if they get really warm they seem to thaw out and stretch their legs and begin to move.
Yesterday Elise had a ladybug and brought it to show Russey. "See Russey, Ladybug. O-Tay."
Awwww, isn't that cute??
CRUNCH... I turned around and there the ladybug was in several pieces. I gave Elise a slight pinch on the upper arm and told her,
"No pinching, ouch. We don't pinch ladybugs!!"
To which Elise replied, "I do."
I never win...
