DQ ice cream night

Laura had another night with the kids alone and decided we needed an outing. After going to Verizon which was closed (to replace the broken phone), we headed to Target to get Valentine's Day goodies. The kids were well behaved and the night seemed young so Laura suggested they go out for ice cream. We got to Dairy Queen just in time for Laura to realized the diaper bag was left on the bottom rack of the shopping cart so quick back to Target and then again returning to DQ. Everything was going smoothly until Elise wanted more. She has a habit of asking for more food when she clearly has 1/3rd still left. Laura told her there was no more and her belly was getting full. She was downing the kids sized ice cream cone and occasionally had a bite of Laura's small blizzard. Elise decided to see how full her belly was getting: she stood up in the booth lifted her dress (exposing her rainbow stripped Elmo's to the entire restaurant) and patted her belly. She realized she wasn't getting a good enough look and then turned to the glass window and began admiring the reflection. This was one of those times that you want a camera but don't want to draw positive attention to the situation, it was hard to contain the laughter, believe me!!

what about Russell? Does he put up with going out for icecream and not getting any OK?

Russell just now is intersted in watching others eat. He is sooo mellow. And yes Miss Elise certainly has a mind of her own. I am hearing more and more, "I do it!!"
