Well it is mid winter break around here and Maleah and I along with the kids made plans. We had originally planned to go to a family fun center, basically a Chuck E. Cheese but bigger. But since the sun made an appearance we thought we better take advantage of it. Right at the end of their street is access to the Des Moines Creek Trail. A really nice trail. It would have been a few miles down to the Sound too much for the kids, we probably did 1.5 miles round trip. The best part was walking back and letting the kids climb rocks all over the creek. I can see us going up the creek bed in rubber boots in the coming months. Maleah got some really good pictures on her camera of the creek bed climbers but mine turned out too dark.
A great day to spend outdoors and have an adventure!
