Lucas loves to be swaddled. I have never rocked him to sleep and he has not had a pacifier, his thing is he LOVES to be swaddled. In fact, if he goes to sleep unswaddled (this is his long overnight slumber we are talking about here) he will wake himself up within 10 minutes from all the moving and shaking he does. He has been in his own bed for a week now. He was in a pack and play in our bedroom but Elise climbs into bed around 7 or 8 and doesn't know how to wisper so Lucas was losing out on precious beauty sleep. He has stayed in our bedroom the longest and was the quietest of all 3 kids, didn't even know he was 3 feet away.
His typical routine goes something like this: 10:30-11:30 PM goes down for bed 6 or 7AM wakes for more fuel, gets fed. Wakes up again 11-11:30AM and depending on how the morning goes and if Laura is trying frantically to get kids loaded for preschool he may or may not get breakfast, in which case he eats about 12:40 otherwise he eats after he wakes. Naps from about 2-5, eats again pre and post nap. Wakes eats again. Plays. Gets fed raisins by Russell, seriously that happened last week I fished out 2 raisins from his mouth and one was in his diaper the next day....Naps again if there is no stimulation and the kids are away from him from 7-8:30 or so and eats again. I am trying to bottle feed him his last meal before bed so he his belly is really full, hoping he will sleep in more.
