Pt Defiance

Auntie Jen and cousin Kylee came down to Tacoma to spend the day with us at the zoo. Our favorite exhibits were the elephants, the tiger, the sharks, feeding the parakeets and the carousel- the nice lady let us ride on it continuously. I have a feeling we will visit the zoo often. It was overcast yet warm, we packed a picnic lunch and they have an outdoor play area to boot, what more could a kid want?

The girls got to choose what horse they rode on and nearly had a meltdown when we told them it was time to go.

This was a new exhibit where you bought a little stick with food on it and waited for the birds to land and eat. Try telling 3 year olds to stand still, "like a tree." Kylee was not afraid and did well, Elise... well she was Elise ;)

Maybe the shark thinks the lobster on Russell's shirt was real- lunch anyone??

Looks like T-R-O-U-B-L-E

The elephants are always a hit. The aunties had a good laugh, the elephant was going #1 across the exhibit and we could HEAR it. It must have been gallons. It stopped and we still heard it... we looked over and there was a man made babbling brook meandering through ;0
