The stove project is still underway. Tore out the old rock wall and hearth a month ago. Now have the new backerboard installed and hearth built. The backerboard is pretty dusty to work with. Glad it only causes cancer in California! We hope to buy the new stone next week, put in a new electrical outlet and start stacking stone. After that a quick call to the stove store and we will be heating the house for free! Say no to heating oil!!!
