Took Russell in the day after Thanksgiving to get his staple and stitches removed. Everyone else in the world was there too. Thinking they waited until after the holiday to get things checked out. Russ was brought back to a room and the first thing he said was "Popsicle" and "more crackers" the little bugger remembered!! It was two weeks to the day that the accident occurred. And yes, he was given Popsicles and crackers.
He held very still and mom here was worried because the gentleman doing this was 50ish, with headgear bifocals (all the better to see with) and using a scalpel!!! I was thinking his reaction time is no match for Russell. Both of them did great and we were soon on our way.
